What better way to keep 4 kids busy during a confinement than to plant veggies… a lot of them! And that’s how it all started… Can you believe we are already at our 3rd annual plant sale? Unbelievable but true!

Along the way we have learned a lot; our first year we planted a little over 300 different kinds of veggies. Our dad thought it was a bit much to have our house overrun with seedlings but he finally came around! This year we are growing a little over 500 tomatoes of many different varieties.

It is quite an undertaking but we love it! And most importantly, we’ve learned just how wonderful and supportive our community really is!

We donated 30 tomato plants to Fritz Garden located in Baie-d’Urfé last year, and will be donating another 50 this year. Fritz is a wonderful community project that helps provide fresh vegetables and fruits to our local food banks.

The tomato plants will be ready for pick up on the week end of May 14th & 15th. We will provide you with more information as the date approaches.

If you live in Baie-d’Urfé and picking up your plants is difficult for you, we are happy to home deliver them to you. Good neighbours help each other!

We make sure to harden off the plants so that when you pick them up, they are ready to be planted outdoors and thrive!
